Online service for quickly creating numbered lists from 1 to 25.

This tool comes in handy when you need to insert numbers into Excel, generate product SKUs, or produce a test-question template on the fly. Supports vertical and horizontal layouts, custom delimiters, leading zeros, and surrounding characters.

How to create a numeric list 1–25

The range 1–25 is filled automatically. Follow four steps:

  • Format: choose “Column” or “Row.”
  • Delimiter: comma, dash, period, space, “/”, “|” or your own character.
  • Preview: see the result instantly in the preview area.
  • Generate & copy: click “Generate,” then “Copy” — the list is copied to your clipboard.

Additional options

Step (interval): enter an integer to get, for example, 3 → 3, 6, 9… or 10 → 10, 20, 30….

Leading zeros: add zeros before single-digit numbers for uniform length: 001, 002… Ideal for SKUs or document IDs.

Surrounding characters: add symbols before and after numbers to wrap them in brackets, quotes, or any style.

Delimiters

You can generate a list without delimiters (for columns) or choose a standard one. To use your own symbol, select “Custom.”

By default there are none. To add brackets or other symbols, select “Custom” and enter your desired characters.

Yes — click “Save to file” and choose your format.

How do I add a prefix before numbers?

In the “Surrounding characters” field, enter the prefix, e.g. ID-.

How do I create two-level numbering (1.1, 1.2…)?

Generate the list 1–25, set the delimiter to . , and add the first level (1) as a prefix.
