The online tool generates a sequence from 1 to 70 in Roman numerals.

Perfect for numbering documents, books, event schedules, and other lists that use classical Roman numeration. It supports vertical or horizontal output, various delimiters, and optional symbol wrapping.

How to create a 1–70 list in Roman numerals

The range 1–70 is filled in automatically. Follow four steps:

  • Output format:Column” or “Row”.
  • Delimiter: comma, period, dash, space, “/”, “|”, or your own character.
  • Preview: the result updates instantly.
  • Copy: click “Generate”, then “Copy”.

Additional settings

Interval: enter a step, e.g. 3 → III, VI, IX… or 10 → X, XX, XXX….

Wrapping: add symbols before and after the numbers, such as brackets or quotation marks.

Wrapping

No wrapping is applied by default. To add your own style, choose “Custom option”.

Roman numerals are formed by adding (VII = 5 + 1 + 1) or subtracting (IV = 5 − 1) symbols:
