The online generator instantly builds a sequence from 1 to 5000 in Roman numerals.

Suitable for numbering documents, books, event plans, and other structured lists that use classic Roman numerals. Supports vertical or horizontal output, various separators, and symbolic wrapping.

How to create a 1–5000 Roman-numeral list

The range 1–5000 is set automatically. Follow four steps:

  • Format: choose “Column” or “Row”.
  • Separator: comma, period, dash, space, “/”, “|”, or a custom sign.
  • Preview: the result appears instantly in the preview window.
  • Copy: click “Generate”, then “Copy”.

Additional settings

Interval: set a step, for example 3 → III, VI, IX… or 10 → X, XX, XXX….

Wrapping: add symbols before and after each numeral, such as brackets or quotation marks.
